We should respect one's wishes I think. We humans are not the same at all. Actually knowing can be too harsh, too real, too blunt and painful for some people. Then other people insist on knowing everything! Not only from their doctors, but from their loved ones. As you point out, you have subtly been shown the person's preference. May you have the strength you need in difficult times. If you feel short of strength, ask. It will appear.

There is a time to fight to reveal the truth and display it to all in view. And there is a time to let loved ones go gently into the night with as little pain as possible. It seems to me this is the time for the latter. My heart is with you, dearest Alexandra. Love and warmest of {{{{hugs}}}},

It is a difficult moral, ethical, and heart wrenching problem but...if you love someone than you accept them the way they are and allow them to keep their own beliefs without prejudices. If they are wrong or we are wrong when we cross over we will do so knowing that we spent the time on this plane of existance together in love and harmony.

Sometimes, or, most of the time, life throws fast balls to us and we have the choice to let them go by, grab or whack it back from where it came.
But, then, there some tricky ones, when they are emotionally attached to oneself, when we know we most let go but our heart says "no way José"
You know that there's not a wrong or a right...yet, doubts will gnawe with those little teeth of uncertainty, second-guessing yoursel every step of the way...until you get the proof that there isn't right or wrong, just human nature.
