Enjoyed this subjective romp. There certainly are all kinds on this site-that's a fact. But I have found, as with any internet posting site for writers, to take it all with a grain of salt.

I believe everyone is worth reading at least once. After that, well, I also agree with you that's it is truly a matter of what speaks to you and what you can harvest from.

I had to mull on your comment about reviewers. And I also have to say that reviewing poetry is such an arcane thing. Like having an opinion about what kind of underware a person wears, or what colors they prefer to put on the walls in their home. Prose is an entirely different thing though.

Your comments were great. Being motivated to write, whether it be by negative or positive comments, does help a writer work harder and do his/her best.

Alexandra, I am in agreement with your blog. I would love to have a literary review of some of my work. I have gotten a few negative comments, but all in all most comments have been very helpful. I also agree with Fee, it does motivate us as a writer just knowing people are reading what we are writing. Great Blog,

I agree but sometimes the support of just knowing we are being read is a motivator to write and with each write improve.
