Dennis, When you get a chance to read and edit my next project for you, my relationship book, 'To Have and To Hold - Forever', you will see my ideas about "Hugging" are a constant theme throughout the book. I have many sources quoted to show studies about how important physical person to person contact is to everyone. Hugging is a great way to encourage this contact. My wife is a very happy person, and I keep her that way, because she likes it when I hug her. many times a day one of us will tell the other on, "I need a Hug!", and we will share a couple hugs.

I am so happy to have the opportunity to get to know you by e-mail and telephone. I can feel that you are a very warm person. I am also lucky to have you edit my manuscript. Talking about hugging, our mother, though very kind and loving, never hugged us her five children. I only learned to hug when we moved to America. Having lived most of my life in Europe, I must say that Europeans are not great huggers.
Wonderful thought....I am a very tactile person and hugs are right up there on the top of my list. Bit challenging to do via the internet isnt it as a virtual hug just misses the mark somewhat? |
