It's always interesting to hear about other writers' processes. It's all about fitting writing into your schedule. If you wait until you have all the time in the world to write, you'll never write a single word. Writing becomes a part of your life, but your life never becomes writing.
I'm similar in that my ideas tend to come to me during my daily routine. Although I also subscribe to Madeleine L'Engle's idea that "inspiration comes during work, not before." No reason both can't be true, I suppose.
