I'm sorry you were taken by Publish America. I know nothing of them but I feel the same about another publishing company that published my book "Grains of Sand." Some publishers don't care and that is why I am being very careful with my next book which is ready. I will take it to SC Writer's Workshop, hoping it will be picked up by an agent or publisher.

I make more than that in the few months I published with lulu.com. I think that royalties is a joke.

I get a check from lulu the following month when I have a sale the previous month, and I assure you the amount is bigger than $1.12.

That is absurd! How do they think the authors can survive with that type of money?

That is why I've never gotten involved with Publish America.

It hurts when you think your friends don't miss you. I have been there when I got bounced out of authorsden two years ago. I had the same feeling then; but then, of course...life goes on.
