Though I'm swept away by this marvelous poem, I'm not quite sure where I'm going, but, as always I love the words and the way you massage the words. Notably: "a lock of my hair triangled under her nose." It can't be said any better, and, damn, I wish I'd said it. So I'll wallow in my envy, Sage, and leave you with this modest haiku that somehow springs to mind:

her private garden
sweet with fragrance
he rests his head

It's a mystery what its all about in a way, but I sure like the references, particularly to Mozart's Jupiter Symphony, one of my favorites I've listend to many times - would've preferred that music.Great imagery as usual...
