I can't NOT share the needs and the blessings in these families. There are so many more I have heard about on Caring Bridge, like Mary Kate, an eight-year-old who has been sent home on Hospice as the medical profession can do nothing further to help her. And Elizabeth, who might be 2 years old, and suffered from a horrible, destroying rash that threatened her life after her bone marrow transplant.
I see an underlying thread of faith and trust in God, though, in these families. Positively inspiring!
And since I follow Esa's story so closely, I marvel at the people responding to their needs. Some have left encouragement on Caring Bridge over and over and over; others have helped in practical ways. God's people care with the love of Jesus, and it is thrilling to see!
