Very well said LaBelle.... and I certainly have read your blogs...often...and I agree almost 100% of the time... Strangely...but I am a christian human being...and love God with all my heart...but I also trust Him to guide me in the right direction in all things...and I guess HE wants me to vote for Obama & Biden, so I guess I won't be able to say "The devil made me do it".... Either way.. our choices should be our own...and once our minds are made up there really is almost nothing that can sway us... I'm not certainly not "thrilled" with every little thing...but I do feel some peace within by my decision...besides...it's too late...I've already sent in my mail in ballot!!!!!! Hot dogs!!!!! Glad you set things straight here ... lindalaw

Keith is right about the turn around reflecting well on Americans but, that said, it's still VERY sad that so many bigots and hate-filled war mongers still reside here with those of us who think.

That God fearing "christians" are the same that linched black boys, burned women as witches in Salem, a set afire crosses in peoples front lawn.
They are the one that will perpetuate intolerance and hate towards the USA.
I got an e-mail telling me not to wear my Veteran cap or decals in my car to avoid to be attacked. Never happened before, they will hurt me just for be an American?
We want a GOP that will perpetuate the hate?
I hope they think that when they pray their hypocrital Our Father because God is frowning at them.

From afar, I'd like to say that the fact McCain and Palin HAD to change tack reflects well on the American people. There is yet hope for the US. I'm glad, because despite 8 years of Bush, hundreds of millions of people outside the US want our friend back - we feel as though the US has been 'possessed' by evil spirits for almost a decade.
I believe an Obama presidency would not only revive US fortunes and culture, but could well be at the vanguard of a period of history in which we finally turn our backs on so many evils.

My 'Hate Mail' box is now overflowing, with truly vile messages from so called right wing 'Christians.' I've gotten to the point where I don't even respond; I just delete them without even reading them.

And I truly wonder how many true Christians even exist any more, these very sad days.

I agree about the hate talk going around. This election has gotten off the issues and into mud slinging. Hope they leave you alone. You vote girl for that is you constitional right and no one should deter you from it. Love and hugs, Bonnie
