My thanks also go to Mr. Sears and Mr. Roebuck...they've always made it handy to purchase the washers - and dryers - and had very dependable ones at reasonable prices. My faves are the Kenmore brands :o) Oh...let's not forget the fridge/freezer!! Beats the heck out of the old "ice-box"...

It is a major convenience I am grateful for here in the country. BUT having "septic" instead of city water is a mixed blessing and almost puts one back in the 19th century (detail omitted!) |
