It does appear to matter less than, say, in 2000. Remember the strong ideological divide that seemed permanent amid prosperity? Now we have candidates scrambling for the middle and a situation that is really tough at best. I guess what we had 8 years ago was a farce, eh?

Not to put a damper on things, but I've lost a lot of interest. 'The Economist' had an article a week or 2 ago pointing out how little things will change no matter who wins. I now see McCain moving in closer and closer. Like a cobra sort of. Only God can make a tree so hopefully He'll help us out some. |
