"Taking the Edge Off"

THANK YOU all of you who not only read but share of yourselves. That is what brings life to what otherwise are merely words on a page....
Interesting analogy and I think something we should all reflect on. Instead of thinking or saying we can't or aren't able to do things maybe we should spend the time in looking for ways we can do them.

When something
difficult needs doing
Y just say, or do it
with clear intentions
usually in private.
Then depending on
the severity of the
act or information, Y
give myself time to
deal with my feelings
of what has had to
happen.
Cause public
confrontations do
nobody any good,
when in private...
things can be made
clearer where you
know the feelings
can be talked
through better.
Then with care
and respect it all
can sorted, if both
are willing.
Thanks for the
read.
I love your insights. Been there, done it all...that's me.. hwr; when it gets truly tuff...remember...GOD LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY...Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! He loves you and wants you to trust HIM...hard to do most of the time, but just let go.. sort of like when diving into the pool, or jumping into the lake...trusting your instincts.. HE wants you to relax..trust..chill out..and let it fall off your back truly.. close your eyes and tell yourself to let go, dive in...trust that HE will catch you.. it becomes easier each time.. I speak from experience..murder,abuse,financial loss, death of loved ones, devastating disease to child, hurricane loss, and the list goes on.. stumble, oh yes..but shake it off and run again..OH DEFINITELY YES... You are loved and your words are wonderful!
Wise words. I have done it both ways. . .walking on eggshells and acting like a bull in a china shop. I am trying your third suggestion, just whittling a little here, a little there to make a smoother fit. Eileen
