When you walk on egg shells it might be quieter, but it's a lot more stressful. But go through like a bull in a china shop, and you'll still end up with a big mess to clean up. So what is the middle ground? Where and how do you "go on"?
There is no absolute guarantee for anything you do. You just hang on to hope and faith - a belief that whatever it is can be remedied and worked out for the greater good. For what you see as the greater good. And perhaps that part of the problem. What we want and what should be at times appear to be in conflict. The proverbial trying to fit a square peg in a round hole comes to mind.
But what if the edges are what makes the conflict and if you'd just try smoothing them out, you'd see that you were a perfect fit after all?
Here's to smoothing the edges of our lives. May it bring us harmony and better way to fit in with what matters most to us.
