It's the scent of it...
at just the right temp
to lure my nose right
to it.

The aroma as my
sense receptors
reach out around
the cups form, as
it makes a circle
motion around it's
edge.

Then gently press
my lips around the
edge... anticipating
the first luscious
splash over my lips
and tongue.

Draining it to the
last... drop, as the
taste of it lingers
until we (the cup
and me) become
acquainted again.

I like to go outside in my yard first thing in the morning to get air and sit at the table and reminisce what i will do for the day and just relax before going about my doings for the day. So peaceful this is to me. Am not a coffee person but do like iced tea, and lots of it all day long.
