This is a cute analogy. Much of your personality shines here Jackie. And your ambiguity with one interpretation being indelicate is just the heck how it is.

You know ... snacking is part of life, can't eat a full course meal every time you're hungry. Besides it takes too long, and sometimes there is only a little time before you have to get back to work.

The only problem with cooking the way you do, is if you stumble on a masterpiece and can't remember how you made it happen, you're up the creek.

There's another one ... those times when you experience a masterpiece that you will never be able to duplicate. Life is so complicated. (-:
