My Mother use
to tell us that
when somebody
has said any
terrible thing
about you, just
smile right at
them and say to
them thanks for
speaken with
such politeness.

People that make
it their ambition
to hurt others and
usually in public,
get their inner
gratification buzz
turned off with
that sort of
response from you.

Cause their mind
is reeling in the
thought that they
might have just
been made a fool
of in public, yet
they have to have
a think about it
first.

In the mean time
since you missed
that opportunity.

A kiss to make
it feel better
and a bandage, to
choke out the filth
that fell into that
wound.

Jag, I am so sorry this has happened to you. I can relate as this sort of thing has happened to me too. We can only hold steadfast to ourselves & the core of who we are. Also Who We Truely Know We Are.

It is sad when people strike out in hate, frustration, anger, jealousy or any petty emotion. They not only hurt their victims but demean their own self worth and denegrade the very act of being human. I am sorry you were hurt J and can only say you are the bigger person by not letting it escalate.

Our strength is in the light that we shed abroad to others, and also on the vileness of what we experience in this crazy world.

Anyone can throw mudballs at another; watch the monkeys at the zoo. Degrading, or hurting others, dwells in the bottom of the human heart. That dark lifeless place where scum and filth accumulate.

The fact that you have seen it for what it was, is sound evidence that the light in your soul is much brighter than theirs.
