"Why Do We Need A Reason To Be Sad?"
4 Comments - Show Original Blog
it is an affliction of our desires to write. the moment it gathers the storm, you post your emotions into beautiful exotic words to be discovered. rich
It's good to
have a real
good crank,
at least once
and a while.
As long as
your not
hurting anybody
while doing it.
Thanks.

Don't need any reasons to be so sad. Just when things go wrong in our lives sommetimes we cannot handle them and go into a depression. Other times sadness is there because we let it come over us and don't ffight it. I try to let go of sadness but it comes and goes each day as aan ocean wave receds and comes again. A never ending thing it seems.
Another good insight jackie. You are quite a woman. Sadness, to me, is just as relevant as elation in the human condition; especially for artistic sorts.
For some reason, in my own experiences, feeling good all the time gives me a skewed perspective on life and others, and also all the idiosyncrasies that make life what it is, and people whom they are.
Sadness, or melancholy, allows me (as an artistic sort) to focus on an area of my own self that most often stays hidden from others. Granted, most times it's not easy, but I am convinced that it's necessary for wholeness.
It's amazing to me, too, as long as I am up and bubbling and sharing energy, people love being around me - but as soon as I lose that to a bout of melancholy, or artistic introspection, people move away. Oh well ...
We are complicated, to say the least, especially in the finer genetic and molecular aspects of how the body and mind functions, and what they require to remain at an optimum level and healthy.
Have a great weekend too ...
Blessings ...
