Maybe "death" is getting rid of these old bodies. Then we're a spirit, sort of bodiless. So, perhaps we should see "dying" as getting rid of the old bodies and that it's the only way to do that. (Hope this makes sense) :)

As one that cheated death three times, I can vouch for Him to anybody having doubts or persisting saying "He can't be"

This is a great post Cynthia, as believers we may grieve for those we have lost, and question our own mortatlity but when we open our hearts to Christ, when we wear his blood, then we are given the promise of eternal life in Heaven, and that will be amazing...I to do not believe you can loose eternal life, I believe once you open your heart to Jesus, your name is written in the lambs book of life...

You are right about eternal life. If you can lose it, it would not be eternal life, but something else.
