Hi Cynthia,

I was wondering when someone would blog about the killings----since you did, more have occurred. I'm waiting for the usual "people kill people, not guns" from the NRA. Guns make these mass killings possible---can't believe they are put in the hands of unstable people. At any rate...thanks for bringing it up. Good thing there's the laugh out lous stories you talk about. If you visit my site you may find one or two that tickle you (the stories, that is, not the book!) Take good care.

That's the key statement: Prevention is everyone's responsibility. Unfortunately, too many choose not to "get involved". :)

I agree here totally. You may have heard recently about a fellow on a bus who cut off the head of a guy who was sitting next to him. And no one noticed! We don't seem to have a lot of crime here yet but the rate is going up and innocent by standers are getting hurt. What can be done? Thank you for alerting us to our own responsibility to seek help for people who are unable to seek it for themselves. Bless you, J'nia

YOu made a good point Cynthia, and I'm sure that these same type of atrocities occur all over the world; just that we seem to put every iota of our lives on TV for the World to swallow! Thing is that times are very hard, and people are suffering thru mental illness stemmed from depression and such heavy stresses... Thing is...we must be diligent in being observant of what/who is around us... take care and hugs, lindalaw

Only because USA is an open society we know of Columbine or Birmingham, but I assure you that in the quiet corridors of intelligencia they know about massacres like those in America going on in Russia, India, China and other few countries.
If someone tells you different is up to you to be gullible.
Mankind is going faster and faster down, life is not so important no more when 300.00 Christians from Dafur and 800.000 in Rwanda don't shocks anybody no more.
