Writer are like gladiators coming out to the arena, committed themselves from the first line until the last drop of ink is drawn, then the readers will give thumbs up or down depending on how they wrote have touched, or not, their admiration.
I haven't see you yet, as a gladiator, taking an unfair battle with an elephant!

I imagine that it would depend on if you're writing non-fiction or fiction, or if you're hiding behind another name (a nom de plume) so you can develop a character that writes about things that would otherwise not be accepted under your own real name.

Sitting down with someone Cynthia, face to face, breaking bread, praying together, laughing, sharing, is the humanness that is lacking when people relate on the internet.

Those who wear a mask to write seem to be unaware that it inevitably slips off when they are challenged. They can only fool you for a short time. I am glad you write from the heart of what you know. There is no other way to do it with meaning. Bless you, J'nia
