People don't realize how much the multi-national corps. have a ruling hand all over the world!
And so many thought I was NUTS when I started pounding on turn-coat Reagan years ago! He'd even convinced the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to use it's slogan "Out of the Manufacturing Age/Era and Into the Communication Age/Era" (or similar). What a CROCK! Not many people even noticed!!
Then that same gang of multi-national corps. convinced people to elect Trickie Dickie, and then Chaney/Bushwack - 'tho I cannot now find 2 dozen people who admit they voted for the latter.
A great blog, Jon; hoping MANY people read this and wake up...even if they don't comment...ya got my antennii standing upright.

In other words, the "plan" backfired. Now we have to figure out how to recuperate those jobs. COO's? Is that Chief Operating Officer? Much info in this blog. Thanks for sharing it.

If I wasn't self employed having the talent I have in my painting business I don't know what I would do.
I'm fortunate that I never run out of work. Most all my work is from word of mouth.
I agree with you 100%, but when American people rally and protest the Government wants to put us in jail or shoot us.
I wouldn't be a very good bum...

My twin, a professional engineer, was let go for the umpteenth time last week. You are absolutely right. The corporate model we admire is our downfall. It is time for a paradigm shift in American thinking.

Dear Jon,

Unfortunately, you hit a note with most Americans. I do agree with your post. Americans are jobless. My family and I were just discussing today the words, "Are we headed for another Great Depression?" Who knows, but without jobs, we just might be.

I know many families who have taken paycuts, and some that are unemployed at the moment. It seems that Americans are realizing, "Hey, we may be in trouble?" thus, leaving them to spend less. It saddens me.
