There are two people very dear to me who suffer from this- and describe it exactly as you have.
It pulls the carpet out from under angels.

Those of us who are spared need to remember to get down on our knees and be thankful. I do hope medical science comes up with good relief.
It has contributed to alcoholism in one dear friend- and I don't know how long the life lines will hold.

Glad you have such love around you!

To all of my precious AD friends I must say....I'm not debilitated by SAD...I simply wanted to put a face behind the seasonal disorder that affects so many...Mark, you are a very special friend and I enjoy the bantering, so please feel free to keep on teasing! My hubby, my children, my grandson, my pets, my family....are all bright rays of sunshine that keep shining through winter's gloomy cloak! I'm truly blessed to have the love and support of my family and friends!

I'm so sorry,Anna! Of course I had no idea that you're afflicted with SADD and actually never even heard of it. You've become one of my best AD friends and, needless to say, I'll never again taunt or tease you regarding the difference between our winters. Here's hoping for some rays of sunshine entering your life, very soon.

My heart goes out to you. It must be incredibly difficult to deal with such an illness. I hope you are surrounded by loving, supportive people. If not, I hope you find some sort of support group for SAD victims. I bet there are some out there. Give yourself a big hug and do something special for yourself.
