Well that is news but I have never bothered with it as I already figured it to be a promotion thing and I write because I enjoy it very much. Would I like to be noticed, YES, but I am one of those who will continue to pay my way and share what I do with all of you who read me. thank you for sharing Linda.

Well, none of us make any money for our efforts. If we don't like to write and not get money or not get famous maybe we better just move on.

I use AD as a sounding board, venting, trying new stuff. It doesn't lead anywhere. Few people respond, but who cares? Mostly it's just keeping the brain flowing, giving you some place public to vent.

Real authors have agents, get $75,000 up front for their books, and never go to places like AD. Why would they? It would cut down on their lucrative time for creative flow.

These days, everyone's a writer. Everyone. And 99.9999999% do it just for fun.

That's what I call unfair. Some shows for 7 times, and some multiple times, and the sad fact is that you and some friends of mine here only showed once when other shows multiple times.

When I confronted Ad a few years back, they had given me the SAME BS answer that the computer rotates all the gold members and everybody has equal chance to appear on the featured block, but obviously the system has a flaw!!! Either that or someone in AD just want to promote certain authors when everyone is paying the same pricee for gold members. This is unfair!!!!

Am I famous? Not by a long shot. Would I stop? No: never know when it will happen. My words here on AD are being read; they're being noticed. Karen and I wouldn't have been featured on Proper Television's "TV Made Me Do It" (Weather Junkies episode) or in Burleson, TX's magazine "Burleson NOW" if it weren't for our words. Keep writing. You never know ...may never be as famous as Stephen King, but hey. Our names are out there!!!

I don't understand all the stuff here or the why's. I just love to write and post, so I just keep doin what I do and hope they keep on doin what they do and eventually we'll all figure it out. Very sweet write, Love ya, Bonnie
