Ouch!!! But I love the way you left this one on a humorous note. Cheer up; we come from ancestors who cooked on campfires (with no pot-holders) and who had to remember to shake the rattlesnakes out of their boots before putting them on. Some times I believe that our modern homes are far more deadly than the wild west ever thought about being -- so many built-in ways of being carelessed to death! I'm glad you survived your morning. Isn't it wonderful how this keyboard makes you forget your "I am near death" pain :-)

Well hope your hand heals quickly and yes you are a trooper and a real writer to put your thoughts down on paper even though in pain.

You are a trooper to write this blog while your hand and arm are injured to the point you may die. LOL

You truly have the gift for writing and I can feel the pain as you described it as I have one of those blasted ceramic top stoves also. You cannot boil water on it as it takes forever to bring it to a boil as it cycles between very hot and medium. Sounds like you got a 3rd degree burn so take care of it and see a Dr. if it doesn't get better.

Jack, you are so funny. I have thought about "milking the injury"...because it does hurt...but it's in a strange area that seems to be getting "thick" instead of so tender...altho it does hurt... How does that sound for pity? hugs, lindalaw

First of all, you haven't be old to do silly things. As long as i remember myself + as long my father remembers me, I did silly and sillier things.

And if about burns we speak, I really think you much more hero that me, as I only make "ouch" and "auch" and "bring me" for a day or longer, whenever such thing as touching some iron or oven or a ceramic plate from the Micro after 10 minutes heating.
Well, may be I exagerate a bit, but you are still a hero.
