Each of you have made me smile with your remarks...but...Randall...yours is the most useful! a VEIL...why didn't I think of it? I can look mysterious and alluring...and then...WALLA...pull the veil aside and everyone can see my snaggle toothed face!!!! Cheez...I'm going back to bed....and hide.... ok...hugs and stuff... lindalaw

It seems to us that our teeth always need fixing at the most inappropriate time. It has always happened that way with me.

Oh I can so identify. I had a my four front teeth capped 12 years ago and the tooth under one got infected recently--root canal from Hell!!I can't take the stronger novacaine because of my heart so I felt all the pain and he never let up or took a break. Now this damn thing cost me thousands along with maybe five other root canals, posts and crowns. When he reset the crown he said it was only supposed to last 5 years!! Do they think we can pay all that money out of pocket every five years? I have at least 2000 dollars more on teeth not done and it's time to redo the ones that were--give me a break!! Why medicare doesn't cover dental is beyond me when you teeth are an integral part of good health. Anyhow, Linda, you have my sympathy which is a lot from one who has been in bed all with with an acute attack of gout caused by BP meds and also high fever and now a UTI. I think we may be related to Job!!
Hang in there kiddo--God never gives us more than we can take altho He and I do not share the same opinion as to how much that is!! I'm still waiting for your book.

Laughing again...but not at you. At the way you present your stories. Humor!! One can only laugh...to keep from crying. Did you really throw the teeth off the bridge? The dentist who made my bridge said it would last ten or fifteen years. I have 2 more to go, so I better start eating now! Love and sunshine dear friend, CarolHawks

Well Linda quiet a story, after paying through the nose for my beautiful pearly whites, we went to Nova Scotia to purchase a house and I dropped my plate while cleaning it, needless to say I won't be without teeth again. I had it repaired and an extra one made. I never lost any weight through all this and soon realized that whatever you have can go through the blender and the calories still count. LOL.
