Sometime I wonder why we have these days in our life... I guess we are tested for a reason,,, but don't know why,, maybe for a better life later as we grow old...
Anyway I love the little story you told that guy about the ugly truck... What a way to put someone down without hurting their feelings... Yet it got your point across... You go GIRL...

I was taught at an early age by my mother to kill them with kindness and to this day, people will ask, aren't you the least bit upset, of course that is why I use my statement on them each time, (It appears to me that you are having a bad day, maybe you should go home and talk to someone who really cares) as I give my best caring smile.

You know you are so right Linda. Age and experience teach us so much and mold us who into who we are. In my younger years from teen till I would say mid to late thirties I would scrap and raise my fists over the slighest insult or perceived wrong.
Now I still stand up for what I believe in but rarely raise my voice in anger or raise my fists to slug it out. lol I don't like pain anymore.
