I read this poem and it is so beautiful how she expresses herself and puts into words what she is feeling and what many other young people are feeling today. What an awsome heart and understanding she shows as she expresses herself. She is an amazaing young lady with so much to offer. Tell her I am proud of her now and always will be that she is special and priceless!!

Linda, I was touched by the beauty of your daughter, physically and in the truth she expressed about her regret in learning life's hard lessons firsthand. Too bad she was wounded in such a deep way, but thank you for sharing her with us all. Admitting we have a problem and asking for help are positive steps to self-realization and healing. A lesser Parent might be tempted to let her grown child learn her lesson and flounder as punishment. But even a girl can be a prodigal son today.
