Have to admit it. I'm a reader too. And I'm loving AD. I've met and read authors I otherwise would never have known existed! And talk about talent... there is much of it oozing out around here.
Poetry is my passion, but I love reading short stories too. Not often do you get a chance to read them out in the "real world" (versus virtual, I mean). Garth Nix did a book of them recently which I throroughly enjoyed, "Across the Wall"... but other than really big names, you really can't find them in any place other than the web.
When you get a chance, pop by Leo Durrant's site, and read his article, "A Texas aFair"... something like that, I'm a little unsure of the title, but I believe it's his only article. Anyways, I LOVE his style. Selene Sky Deme has got color in everything she writes. She's amazing. Well, back to reading. I'll join you in your quest. Let's see if I can read and review 50 short stories and poems this next week. It'll be difficult, but I'm game! --Charlie
