Dear Erin,

That was a harrrowing experience that you shared and many of us have had similar experiences--some fatal. You are right in that it is up to the patient to monitor and question every thing their physicians do--because the doctors for many reasons will not.So glad you are well and the nightmare is over.

Whew! That was a close call. So needlessly too. I'm glad everything has worked out for you. You really (that is the proverbial big YOU) do need to pump information out of doctors, nurses and anyone else you can get to volunteer information. they just don't seem to want to do it on their own.

Glad you're okay. I feel the same rush of relief everytime I hear a similar story.
