Well all the places
outside the city core
will just have to go
back to the horse and
buggy to get around!!

Businesses will do
whatever to make
their profits, if it
means maken the public
pay for their mistakes
and excessive greed.

Then 1930s will play
out again only this
time, it might not look
that bad on the surface,
yet under their bellies
they will have very deep
short comings.

As the populations grow
there will be more and
more of these happening,
they already have them in
their future plans.

It's only governments
and businesses that get
rich in these recessions,
they play the public out
of their monies as fast
as they can.

Flaunting real estate,
cheaper guzzlers etc,
all the time knowing those
items will be worthless in
the long run.

Still they got you to pay
your hard earned money on
their dead product line,
maken them richer to fight
more wars!!!!

It's a coming....

I'm glad too that you posted this. We all needed and need to read it! I'm also glad I've been able to live nicely without ANY car for 17 years now. That's big city living for you. The "European style" trains sound great to me. I lamented many times that we didn't have them. Also, time to revitalize close-in or downtown living! It can be enjoyable. 'Bye burbs', it will be for some people.

Reg, this is not "the sky is falling" fear, but fears borne out by years of greed. The greed starts at the top and then slides with its sludge filled upheavel to our front door...we had a chance, and maybe still have a chance, but the cost and sacrifice will be greater now, then it would have been twenty years ago when we had gas lines and God forbid we had to pay $1 per gallon for gas...There is more to come.

Thanks for putting it in glaring perspective for us, Regis. Fine work. Islam is the driving force behind this push for higher oil prices in their march to convert the world, and at this end of the country we can thank Bushit, trickie Dickie Cheney and their oil cronies adding to the mess.

Let us spend a moment reviewing facts:
1. the BUSHES have been 'in bed with" the Ben Ladens and other stinking, filthy rich ARABS for decades and decades.
2. the Federal Reserve Bank - OWNED BY PRIVATE ENTERPRISE - and the WORLD BANK - has known, planned, and perpetrated this FIASCO for YEARS!
3. THE MAJOR U.S. OIL COMPANIES have been in collusion with all of the above, and the STOCK MARKET PROFITEERS are having their HEYDAY!
4. IT IS ALL PLANNED - just like the automobile manufacturers have done for 60 years or more - PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE!
5. GREED - AVARICE - APATHY OF THE PUBLIC -
AN UNWILLINGNESS OF THE SHEEP TO GET OFF THEIR FAT ASSES AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

BOTTOM LINE? INVEST IN WOOD COMPANY STOCK -THEN WATCH THE COST OF WOOD SKY-ROCKET!

Thank you for sharing this. We've all been experiencing price climbs. Facts and educated opinions can help us make choices for the present and the future. I've always feared using my wood-burning stove because of the chance of a fire. This winter, I plan to use it!

The biggest gas/oil companies have recently been grilled. They made billions last year and they have no plans to ease the blow to consumers. Their greed is quickly destroying the lives we lead.

In Scandinavia we are approaching the 8 dollar gallon price.
What nobody ask is, who is collecting all the money?
And when they have all of it, what they are coming to do with that wealth? buy the Casino of Monaco to gamble privately, it has been done before (but rented, only)
The big oil consortiums have used humongous quantity of money to stop reseach of other types of motor locomotions and electrical cars (someone said that if they can make an AC battery it would revolution transport) so, why stop it?
Because they haven't squeezed the last drop of that dam oil yet.

Thank you for sharing and putting so much thought and information in your article. I feel it coming. Gas here in El Paso, Texas is $4.00 a gallon. Thank God I'm in a Honda Civic and work on-line out of my home. Because of what you described I've decided to move to Truth or Consequences, NM near my parents in a quiet little town where you can walk anywhere, work off mhy computer in a small modest home, woodstove and grow my own garden. Well Done! Deborah

Here is the US our gas prices are $3.95 per gallon regular or more, and over $4 for high octane and diesel. People have started looking for alternative means of travel including some places riding bikes.

It is a scary time, and yes people are beginning to take matters into their own hands. This has all be prophesied centuries ago.
