Twitter and Facebook are the two best social networks. I started blogs myself and found that no one really responds to them. In my opinion, you can get the most out of obtaining followers on Twitter. Millions of people are on Twitter and will receive updates on who you are as a person, your day-to-day living and what projects your currently working on. I hope this helps.
