Summary:	This short story book is filled with fiction accounts that portray the horrors children often face in the legal system.
Details:	This will be an Amazon free day for my short story book, Fairy Tales from the Land of Law. These short stories are based on real life situations I encountered in the courtroom. I was known for thinking out of the box when it came to children's issues. It was my contention that the bond of love between child and adult is protected by the constitution. Obviously, the DNA that is what makes the biological relationship so unique is an important factor to consider in deciding the proper residence of a child. However, when the presumption that DNA gives a parent has been disturbed by a parent's failure to assume responsibility for a child, the test has to be somewhat different. That's what the stories in this book address. There are thousands of scenarios where grandparents, step-parents, aunt and uncles, other relatives, foster parents, and other people have become so entangled in a child's life that the child bonds with them as a true parent when the biological parent has failed to step up.. That is where the issues become interesting. That is where the bond based on love should take precedence. Perhaps someday the law will discover a better way to address these very difficult issues, but it hasn't happened yet.�
