CAKE: A Love Story, a short film based on It Had To Be Us -- the award-winning romantic memoir  by Harry and Elizabeth Lawrence -- won First Place at the 2017 NSAEN International Film Festival. This film and two other top short movies from the festival (Signal and Second Chance) will be shown in the Savannah Comedy Room at the Corner of Bay Street and 1 Jefferson Street on December 13, 2017. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door. A portion of each ticket goes to the Warriors, a 501c3 non-profit organization that goes to combat injured veterans in need.
