Carlton Davis launched a kickstarter campaign to fund the publishing of his new book the Art Dockuments
Hello fellow authors. I have intitiated a kickstarter campaign to assist me publishing my new book, The Aart Dockuments. The Art Dockuments are my stores about the drive-by art gallery I had in downtown Los Angeles from 1981-1986. Kickstarter campaigns are a good way to raise funds for book projects along with films, music, and games. I suggest all us authors consider this idea. Major publishing houses are in trouble and unless you are a celebrity, or an established author, or write self-help books, you have little change of getting publication with the old line publishers. Now with self-publishing and internet fund raising sources, we don't need them anymore.
If I can interest you to join my cause and if you are able, I ask for your support.
Your support will go along way for us authors to be come free of the bondage to the old ways.

Please contribute something, if you can. Anything is good, even a dollar or ten dollars helps, bu know $55 gets you the book shipped to you, $75 gets you the book inscribed with a personal message from me, and $150 gets you the inscribed book plus your name published in the book as a supporter. There are lots of awards above that and if you are feeling generous and would like the book stuff plus a drawing by me it would be a $500 donation.

Know I don't get a cent if I don't make my goal of $12,900 and you don't get charged anything unless I make my goal. This is one of the drawbacks to kickstarter, but there are other funding sources which give you all that you raise.
