Author, Gemini Adams, is delighted that the book received this much coveted award, she says: "This is such an honor. The book really started because I lost my own Mom to cancer, so the fact that it has been recognized by Mom's choice makes me feel like she is up there in heaven giving it a thumbs up!"

The book, which was published in September 2009, has gone from strengh-to-strength, winning the National Best Book Award 2009, the Dad's Seal of Approval, and now the Mom's Choice Gold Award. The title is available in bookstores nationwide, as an eBook and the audio version will be published in Summer of 2010.
