TZATZIKI FOR YOU TO SAY has 27 chapters and is significantly longer than either Feta Compli! or Moussaka to My Ears. I didn't want to produce another volume unless I felt it was even better than what had gone before. Many sequels, whether books or films, leave one with the feeling that the quality and content is diminishing, but I didn't want that to be so with Tzatziki for You to Say. Hopefully, once you've read it you'll agree.

The book contains loads of experiences from here on Rhodes, percentage-wise much more than books 1 and 2. But it also boasts some funny and informative stuff from previous years too, some of which involve, once again, my wife's quirky Greek relatives in Athens.

Some of the places visited include Kefallonia, Symi, Leros, the Greek Mainland (various places), and even Kusadasi in Turkey!

"Tzatziki" covers innumerable funny and poignant moments in the five years that my wife & I have now lived on Rhodes. In its 27 chapters you learn about the "livestock" that inhabits the walls around lamps left on during a Greek evening, as well as the horrors that one may encounter in a dimly-lit backstreet on Symi. Then too, you'll find out why, when invited to a wedding, we get to see the bridegroom in his undies on the morning of his wedding day. I may well have ended up with singer Bryan Ferry as my brother-in-law if onlymy  wife's sister would get up earlier!

Why is a certain old Greek bloke banging his "steel drum" at the crack of dawn? How assiduously [or not!] do the Greeks apply the health and safety rules in hospital? What do you have to do to get a free coffee in a village taverna? How do you stop armies of ants from marching up your fruit trees? How, too, does a Greek friend get the electricity men to come out when you're got no electricity? Why does John's wife call him "Uncle Stamati the Second?"
