Munsters to Call it Quits?

Apparently one of 60s television's most famous couples is separating after a huge spat caused their son Eddie to run away and live with the dancing bear in the cave in the woods and daughter Marilyn to petition the court as the lost heir of Ozzy Osbourne.
The spat apparently started over an ebook copy of Dark Harbors by Howard Hopkins. The Munster Matriarch laid claimed to the only ebook reader and tried gingerly to discuss the prospect of having Hopkins over for a friendly author party complete with batwing dip and spider chips, but the seven-foot tall, bolt-necked Herman would have none of it, accusing Lily of philandering.
Delivered through Grandpa Munster, Lily issued the following statement: "I don't know what got into the big lug, but his insane fits of jealously have finally become more than I can bear. I am keeping my book and issuing a private invitation to that wonderful author to have a booksigning at 1313 Mockingbird Lane."
When contacted for his side of the story, Mr. Munster would only stomp up and down, shake his fists and yell: "I'll kill 'im, I'll kill 'im, I'll kill 'im!"
He looked serious.
Your intrepid reporter will deliver the details as they become available. One wonders if this might not be some sort of peculiar publicity stunt, as controversy seems to have dogged Hopkins and his novels since their publication. However, unconfirmed reports continue to swirl around the contents of Dark Harbors perhaps containing hidden odes to the, shall we say, handsome Mrs. Munster. Could this be what drove her laboratory-created spouse to such fits of jealousy?
