The exciting info-tainment follow up to I Married Satan is coming this Fall...here is an excerpt:
After I finally found the strength to leave the man whom I thought that I was married to I relocated to a city which was far enough from he and my problems, but still close enough to my family in case of an emergency. Not only did I feel that I had to escape the abusive marriage that I was in, I had to also cut the umbilical cord from my mother and grow. Not because I stopped loving her but I had to begin to live and experience life and start over. Despite her always being there to support me (even today), I had to learn how to stand on my own two feet.
Even before I moved to Baltimore I stood out like a sore thumb. But it worsened after the move, because it was obvious that I was from some place different. I met a lot people, and I quickly learned that standing on my own two feet could be very painful and hard at times. Meaning that being away from my family and friends was very hard as I was uprooted and replanted in this strange place. One major challenge was that because I didn’t know how to date…dating was kah-ray-zee. Before long I realized that I needed to chill out on the dating scene, get my life right with God and get FOCUSED. However, eight years after moving to Baltimore, and five years after having my marriage be over and a few years after God got my life back on track…I’m still single. Coming home to an empty house; cooking dinner for one and watching tv and/or writing until I fell asleep…
And yet with all that is going on around me I still have to ask myself the question
Why am I still single?
I can’t ask my girl friends because many of them are either relationship challenged or happily married.
Yet, I fall somewhere in between…
