| My poem 'First Breath' was chosen by Rob Playford to provide lyrics to a song of the same name. |
In receiving a message here at AD, Rob Playford told me, when I asked I was curious how he had found my piece:
'I came across it after the guy who I collaborated to write it with named the song ‘First Breath’ – I spent some time looking for poems with this title – looked at loads but finally settled on yours. He added the backing track then I put on the vocals and guitar parts ... I have changed parts of it to fit to music. We are both happy with the result and I’m also glad you are."

I sent him two poems I wrote as lyrics to see what he thought of them and he worked the words of 'I gotta Get a Ride, Yeah' into his musical composition. I'm very happy with his creations, he is very talented and has a wonderful voice. I hope you enjoy them as much I do.
