These short stories were written between 1980 and 2010. Some were unsuccessfully submitted to literary and popular magazines, some appeared in THE CREATIVE JOURNAL, the literary magazine of North Central Technical College, now North Central State College. A few lay dormant in my archives waiting – and now their wait is over.

These stories have no relationship with one another; each stands alone. Nor do any of the characters appear in any other than their own story. No moral judgments or object lessons are intended or implied; the reader is free to carry away from each what he or she finds meaningful or important. I wrote these stories to entertain, to be enjoyed.
