Jim West, former Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, finds himself in San Antonio, TX, once again summoned by an old friend for help.  The friend's wife has been murdered and the police believe they have the murderer in jail - West's friend.  Soon West discovers that neither the police, nor his friend's lawyers, want him in town.  As he pursues one lead after another and dead bodies start piling up around him, the real question is can West identify the killer before the police throw him in jail or the killer gets rid of him - his way.
