Part 25
Two Suns
It was clear the Ponticleef was on schedule with his killing spree of the human. He had ransacked, ravaged and cultivated as many bodies for reanimation as he possibly could. The Crowne wasn’t too far behind as his war upon them was as equal or worse. With his weapons on board his ship, he burned and beheaded all who were either running away or hiding in plain sight trying to escape.
He didn’t need them for anything. His only mission was to destroy them, eliminate them once and for all. Along with Borotha, he wanted co-ownership of the planet. Long ago, he knew there was no place for them to travel in the heavens when the wrathing came about during the war in 2042.
The mode of travel by way of space didn’t quite pan out since many of them could not withstand the trip to YR-157, a planet that was discovered in 2020. They had twelve years to successfully carry out their plan, but never came into fruition.
A few astronauts made the round trip there to terraform and map out an area were the administration could begin to build a colony for the few ‘select’ survivors of earth. Not because of the war, but because of the suns. It was their way of escaping before the damage was done to those who could not take the heat.
The powers that were in control had no confidence in Kishar’s promise that she would recess two of the suns, reverting them back far away into the universe. She returned one of the larger suns to its home planet of Nubos in the Andromeda System but the war started before she could send the second sun back to its original place in the Kaldeon galaxy, therefore leaving it to remain with the original. It continued to sear the planet even hotter, thus eliminating those who knew this was not created by natural causes.
During construction, the underground cities were like fortresses. They were built to withstand the worst kind of assault on the top of the Earth. It predicted that whatever was going on up there, would not affect their environment, but they were terribly wrong. Rylarthe thought hiding in the caves and the underground bunkers they erected for ‘certain’ people to survive would suffice, but majority of them died, perished under grave conditions that weren’t expected to happen.
Such things as deadly gases emanating from the porous earth and vibrations from the weapons used for the fighting that occurred above ground, instantly began to terminate their future survival. It destroyed everything they built to sustain themselves.
All the bombings and the blasts from the ‘Vanguard’s’ weapons as well as from the evil power machine, unleashed the crumbling of the massive steel and concrete pillars that held up the weight of the structures they had erected over the years as their housing.
This destruction angered Rylarthe. His plans to emerge successfully without having to once again, convince the remaining population that there would be a ‘savior’ coming to save them, was torn apart. Not to mention the ‘ones’ who were in power with him, believed in him, but they too, all perished in their underground tombs. By the luck of the draw, he managed to escape with only a few cuts and bruises.
There were only two original evil entities that remained on the entire planet. With their combined powers, they regenerated the exact scenario they had in place before the war. One last time, the opportunity presented itself as it had several eons before. But in this moment, to them, it felt like they were close to killing off everything.
But still, the reaction of the heating from the suns had done much damage by way of the strong radiated rays beaming through the cloudy skies. This hampered progress on the human’s part simply because the heat was unbearable through certain times of the day. Reconstruction took place through the night and ceased during early noon, but the evil minions of the Crowne demanded the human to toil endlessly to rebuild his empire until they could be used no more.
They worked twenty-four seven, one shift on, one shift off. This was punishment for praising the ‘Vanguard’ for the liberation of the people those few hundred years after the war. The time for a culling was inevitable and this made perfect sense to the Crowne who carried out the order of the Guidestones that the Ponticleef had initiated to one of his daemons. It was high time to expel any and all useless persons who could not contribute and worship his crown.
If they couldn’t bow down and do what they were told, they could not live. The harshness of the environment did not help. Even after the long, endless days seemed to not disappeared into darkness, one of the suns left their heat signatures on all those who were not born as ‘sun kissed’ as most others were.
They were the first to drop and pass out from the smallest of activity. They were not able to participate in the slavery of the Crowne and this gave reason to the Ponticleef to slaughter them first. The highly melanated ones were spared at the last moment as they were much more valuable and worth more in gold.
Still, they were targeted to work long and hard more than any other human on the planet. The Ponticleef knew the history of the ones who the Creators placed on the Earth long before his kind showed up. He was extra angry that this ball of beauty was terraformed just for them. And as far as those suns that shined, they brought no harm to the masses of the dark ones. He always knew this was a special gift to only they could use and with that, he wanted them X’ed out.
