Winning Honourable Mention in a contest that I wasn't supposed to enter.
I entered a contest for a Holiday Story which was supposed to be about Christmas, Valentine Day, Easter or any holiday of the year. So I thought so what my book is about revenge and killing and violent endings, I will enter it anyway. Much to my surprise I won Honorable Mention in the contest which made me laugh. I wonder what it would do if I entered a contest that was really for my book topic. Maybe win first!!
