Five Stars! Another Great by Vic Warren.

The River: An Inspector Kwong Mystery, is the second book in the Inspector Kwong series. Having read the first one and being extremely impressed, I went ahead and purchased this one right after. This one did not disappoint one bit; if anything, it was even better than the first.

This book contains everything that a person needs in a good novel; suspense, thrill, mystery, humor, and romance. Matson Tai was definitely my favorite character in this book. He was extremely relatable, and I found myself rooting for him throughout the book. His journey makes you want to keep turning the pages.

The book was short and quick to read, which makes it even more enjoyable to me. I was sad when it ended, but I'm pretty sure Vic Warren is going to be putting out a third pretty soon. Highly recommend both of these books, especially if you're into mystery and thrill, with a touch of romance thrown in.
