My pastor asked for contributions for our church's publishing ministry, in the form of Gospel tracts. I submitted two, both of which were accepted and published.

The title of the one is "What Must I Do to be Saved?" The other one is "Is Your Jesus the Bible Jesus?" (Both are available on my church's web site and through me.) As I wrapped up the "Bible Jesus" one, I felt definitely led of God to take one point made in the tract and broaden it into a full-length book with the same title.

 The Lord began to dictate to me the table of contents He wanted me to cover, and I jotted it down. Then the process of turning that basic outline into a full examination of Who and What the Bible Jesus is, began. The book was finished in late 2011 or early 2012. I had searched for publishing options and had chosen WestBow Press, the self-publishing division of Thomas Nelson Publishing. After a long and challenging labor of love, "Bible Jesus" was published in May, 2012.

Although the book hasn't hit any best-seller lists or garnered the public awareness I had hoped for (because of the vital message it conveys)--in spite of considerable publicity and marketing efforts --it has received remarkable acclaim among its readers.

It has been reviewed here in the U.S. and in Britain, the most recent review being published in "Christian News," July 8, 2013, edition, on page 9.

Although the book is no longer "new," it is still creating waves, and I thank God for the way it is helping souls! I recently received several phone calls from a reader, exclaiming how the book has helped him in his Christian walk. He said to me, "I didn't realize I had drifted so far from God!" and he made the necessary moves to bring his Christian experience up to par. This is, by far, the greatest reward I can receive here, in this life!

I challenge all Christians who care about making their calling and election sure to read "Is Your Jesus the Bible Jesus?" Not because I wrote it, or because I want to sell more books (!!!), but because I truly feel God led me, and anointed me, to write this book for the good of those who hope to make Heaven their home. It will, beyond doubt, dig around your experience and help you draw close(r) to God.
