He did it for me!


When I think about the precious Lamb of God,

     When I see the pain, the shame, the agony,

When I consider what a lonely way He trod,

     And consider that He bore all these for me,

How can I then turn, coldhearted, from His face?

     How can I despise such loving sacrifice?

Oh! Can I forget He died there in my place,

     And 'twas for my ransom that He paid the price?
