Yesterday 29 March 2012, the Council of Swedish Museums has announced Kulturparken Småland as the winner of the Prize of the year for its impressive and highly professional interaction with the community. As I have been working with the Kulturparken over the past year I am glad to be a part of the collective team effort that has generated this wonderful achievement. I wish to congratulate to all the staff and management specially the Kulturparken chief, Erica Månsson for being a visionary in her leadership of this great cultural institution which has increased its annual performance by 40% compared to 2010.

Anytime I visit Kulturparken Småland
I feel like regaining a lost identity
Thought at times
I feel lost in the search of a lost identity
It is a mirror of hope framed in the eons of Time
Hanging on the walls of human history
reflecting images of fleeting dreams
As the shimmering light of Old Ages
Passes through a lovely prism of Today
To produce a spectrum of blissful tomorrows
