Why celebrate? I guess it's just one of those things we do traditionally. There isn't much else to it but turkey and football. So, let's do turkey and football then!
Except I haven't done much of anything for Thanskgiving since before the pandemic. I'm excited to be going to a restaurant today, so that is good. We'll have a good time there.
Speaking of time...
I'm approaching the halfway mark on Time Knight. I have to type in public with people walking around because I don't have a house to sit in and do that. So I get really paranoid that someone will appraoch me and ask what I'm doing. I don't want to have to stop if I'm on a roll. I want to keep going! But unfortunately, people who are not writers do not understand if you are in the zone or not. All they might see is a dude typing a lot and making some noise or working on a laptop, who they are free to interrupt no matter how important it is what he thinks he's doing. I just don't want to talk if I'm typing!
I am shooting for the end of December to have this thing close to ready to be decent enough to release. It's going to be another shorter one at 175-200 pages, but it's long enough. Who needs long stuff anyway? Good enough is good enough. I just need to type more than 1,000 words a day. But halfway is good. 1,000 words a day is good.
After this, I have a choice between some of these things:
Type up Earthborn to get ready for KDP
Type up 'Being I.T.: 10 Years in Tech'
Type up the AI short book or the weight loss short book
Start something new such as - Earthborn part II - Sky Children, something about werewolves, something else
So, that's a lot. Stay chill!
