This nature walk with my grandchildren was the "spark" for me to something I had never done - write a children's book. There was a tiny toad hopping around this toadstool. She picked it up so gently and placed him on this big mushroom. My grandson snapped the picture. I told him he got a picture of a toad on a toadstool! The kids and I started seeing personalities in each mushroom. The story grew. What fun! Someday I will edit this book to perfection with the help of friends and suggestions. I've edited it once already. I won't stop until this book is a childrens' best seller!
