Being picked up by a publisher is always great news for a writer, whether they be novelists or writers of poetry. With this being said I was lucky enough to submit my second book, 'Sword of Stone' in my children's mystery series, 'Merlin's School' to Satalyte publishing in Australia and it was immediately snapped up. My new editor also wanted to re-release the first edition, 'The Ring of Curses', which was done officially on June 10th this year, 2014. It so happened to coincide with me being chosen by Linc, Australia, Tasmania, to be a featured author on their website for 'The Premier's Reading Challenge' a prestigious event for all school children. It challenges children to read ten books over an allotted period ... a great way to encourage children to read.
With all this being said I've also been asked to write short stories for a small magazine, so all is looking good on this front.
In the mean time I have decided to try my hand at something else ... also in the children's field ... and I hope to have this published at the end of the year.
