My book - Merlin's School for Ordinary Children - The Ring of Curses is a magical adventure story set around an Aztec ring. This ring causes all sorts of grief for the children who are caught up in the mysterious web that surrounds it ... but like any adventure there is always clues to help everyone along the way. The following  poem is the clue that my children 'FIND'.

Steal the ring, doom be bound,
Given all until found.
Given none, all is lost,
Spirit torn, devil crossed.
Darkness first, blackness then,
Darkness last, balanced Zen!
Not at all, but time will come,
Simple thought for only some.
Tidal cries - oh foolish sin,
Wanting all kith and kin!
Look to moon and look to sun,
Look to where light begun.
Frigid heart not venture there,
If to be without a care!
For circles time, Karma still,
Fellow's friend, not honour kill.
Then all is well, eternal charm,
Enter thee without soul's harm.
